Giving
Giving is one of the ways we respond to God’s grace. We give not out of pressure or obligation, but out of gratitude — because God has been generous to us.
At Knock, giving supports the everyday life of the church, enables ministry and mission, and helps us serve our local community and the wider world. It is one of the ordinary rhythms through which we learn to trust God and take part in what He is doing.
Why we give
The Bible teaches that everything we have comes from God. When we give, we acknowledge that truth and place our trust in Him rather than in ourselves.
Giving helps us:
Support worship, prayer, pastoral care, and discipleship
Invest in children, youth, and families
Share the good news of Jesus locally and globally
Care for those in need
Maintain and steward our buildings and resources

How to give
There are several simple ways to give, depending on what suits you best:

Sunday giving
An offering basket is available during our Sunday gatherings for those who prefer to give in person.
Gift aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your giving at no extra cost by signing up for Gift Aid. This allows the church to reclaim tax on your donations, helping your generosity go further.

A word about amounts
We don’t set figures or percentages. We encourage people to give prayerfully, proportionately, and joyfully, as God enables. Giving is an act of worship, and it looks different in different seasons of life.
