Ages & Stages
We’re a church family
We’re a family made up of all ages and life situations. Whether you are just starting out, raising a family, studying, working, or enjoying later life, there is a place for you here. Different seasons of life bring different joys and challenges — and we want to walk with one another through each of them. Below, you’ll find ways to connect, grow, and be supported at your stage of life.
Wherever you are, you are welcome.
Children
Knock Tots
Fridays 10am-11.45am
Knock Methodist Centre
Knock Tots is an opportunity for parents/carers and their babies and toddlers to meet weekly during term time for chat, play and great snacks! Our relaxed and informal programme includes playtime for the kids, coffee and snack time for both children and adults and ends with a short story and songs. We would love you to join us and you will receive a warm welcome from our team!
Crèche
Sunday Mornings
During Church
Crèche is a place where young children, not yet in pre-school, can have fun, play games and listen to stories in a safe environment. This gives parents the opportunity to enjoy the service knowing their children are being cared for by our team of volunteers. The aim of crèche is to welcome young children into our church family and to show them that God made them and loves them.
Lighthouse
Sunday Mornings
During Church
Lighthouse is our Sunday morning ministry for pre-school and primary-school children. It’s a fun, safe, and welcoming space where children learn about Jesus in ways they can understand and enjoy. Children begin the service in church with their families, joining in worship together. After around 20 minutes, they head out to Lighthouse for age-appropriate teaching, games, crafts, songs, and time to explore the Bible. Our aim is simple: to help children know that they are loved by God and that Jesus is someone they can trust and follow.
All our leaders are trained and safeguarding approved, and children are checked in and out carefully. Lighthouse runs every Sunday morning — we’d love to welcome your children. If you have any questions about our Children’s work please contact our Director of Children’s Ministry, Nicky, using the button below.

Thursday Afternoon Service
2nd Thursday of the Month (Sept-June)
2pm
Knock Church
We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 2.00pm for a quieter, more reflective service in the sanctuary at Knock. This service offers space to slow down and listen, with traditional hymns, a short address, and a less busy atmosphere. It is especially appreciated by those who value a calmer pace of worship, but it is open to everyone. After the service, you’re warmly invited to stay for tea, coffee, and some treats, with time to enjoy fellowship together. Whether Knock is your regular place of worship, or you’re simply looking for a peaceful midweek service, you would be most welcome to join us.
Other events
We also run occasional trips, talks, and social gatherings throughout the year.
To find out more, or to check what’s coming up next, email the church office — we’d love to help you get connected.
Pastoral care
We all go through seasons when life feels heavy — illness, grief, family pressures, anxiety, or difficult decisions. You don’t have to carry these things alone. Pastoral care at Knock is about listening, praying, and walking with you through whatever you’re facing. Support may come through a conversation, prayer, a visit, or ongoing care, depending on your situation.
If you’d like help, prayer, or more information, please get in touch with our Pastoral Associate Heather Leitch using the email button. Everything is handled with care and confidentiality.
More+
There’s more going on in the life of Knock Church than we can fit on one page. We run regular gatherings and events for men and women, along with a range of short courses throughout the year to help people explore faith, grow as Christians, and navigate different seasons of life.
Some things run regularly, others come and go — so the best way to stay in the loop is through our weekly email. It includes what’s coming up, how to get involved, and connect. You can subscribe by adding your email in the section below — it’s the easiest way to keep up with what’s happening at Knock.
